NFPA 70B Committee Convenes for ROP Meeting

Press Release Summary: The National Fire Protection Association 70B committee
convened last month for a Report on Proposals meeting in Spearfish, S.D.

Press Release Body: SPEARFISH, S.D. - As part of the revision cycle, the technical
committee for the national consensus standard NFPA 70B, Recommended Practice for
Electrical Equipment Maintenance has convened for a Report on Proposals (ROP)
meeting July 14-16 in Spearfish S.D.
The NFPA standards-making process allows the public to submit proposals for change
or modification to the existing standards. The purpose of the ROP meeting is for the
committee to comment and vote on proposals submitted to the NFPA regarding
recommended practices for electrical equipment maintenance.
